Our Prezi Presentation was very successful there were both ups and downs and things we could improve on. Our feedback from our class mates and teacher were practical and constructive. It will help us in the future when thinking about filming and to improve our pitch next time.
To start with the positive feedback our peers stated that the idea was original and the presentation its self was well presented. There were parts of our presentation that was well detailed and explained and the adding of our own interpertations were good. One of our feedbacks were related to our title 'Sheeps Riot' and the theme behind it which was Peer Pressure. They said we thought about the title instead of just giving the film one as it had a deeper solid meaning.
Although there was positive feedback there are still element which need improving that could benefit us in the future. when it came to demostrating our overall synopis of our film such as what would happen in two hours we needed more than just the rioting its self however we went on to say it would involve more gangs joining the riots and as the gangs increased Raheem played by Rojal would realise it is getting out of hand and would involve himself and get killed as a consequence. Another situation that was stated was that the detail on our target audience was clear who the classification was for but not who we were specifically targeting to for example what kind of people would watch it and explain why they would be interested in watching the film.
From the feedback we recieved as a group we will take this in and improve on a variety of elements within both our film and our pitch starting with a deeper understanding of our target audience. We will specifically be targeting at boys because of the themes that are being presented within the opening and the fact there are no females which will participate in the film. Also we will be targeting at young adults who live in urban places such as hackney and are on social network sites. Mostly ages 15-18.
The second improvement which is yet to be shown will be the overall synopsis of our film. Although it is not as important because we are not shooting the whole 2 hours we need to consider that the film will hyperthetically will be shown, because our film opening was originally based on one day. it came to mind that in one day most of the action would have already gone and then what would be left of the film to watch therefore our opening will be based on the three main days the riots came to london.
