Jacked: Filming Day One
Today we started filming for the opening of jacked. We first started the filming based on the storyboard and as we was going along we thought of different shots we can incorporate into the final shoot. There was things we have to be conscious of when we was filming for example the weather, we kept an watchful eye on it so that the camera wouldn't get damaged and Ismail wouldn't slip as he's running.
Framing and Experimenting
When doing the various shot types we carefully planned the shots so that the rules of thirds was used effectively, there wasn't so much head space in the frame and also to make sure that we have characters coming in and out of the frame so that it will be easier for Cristian to do match cuts when editing.
We also experimented with different shots from different angle, which included using the fig rig and filming from different positions so that we were able to establish the differences between Rojal (The sensible teenager that doesn't go to riot) and Ismail & Crisitan (The two naive boys that think the rioting and
looting is the best thing to do.
