Editing our shots for our remake
(Rojal editing and putting together the shots)
Here Rojal was using Final Cut Pro to create our shot by shot remake of our Breakfast Club intro.
There was some difficulties such as the original video being longer then our remake. Therefore the voice over was longer then the shots being shown. So we decided to make some shots extended by slowing down the motion. We did this by extending the time the shot is shown. We used the same time that each shot was shown on the original intro to Breakfast Club.
By doing this it made our remake even more similar to the original.
(Watching the video over)
We all watched how the editing was coming along and gave our opinion on how to improve it.
Therefore Rojal could understand how to make our remake better. We decided to use the original soundtrack to the original Breakfast Club and add it to the start of our remake too.
This made our remake more similar too.
We then all decided that we should include the credits at the beginning of the remake as they do on the original movie. By using text to make the credit this proved to be very time consuming, so we told Rojal not to include every single credit because it wasn't that important.
A progress video of our remake so far whilst editing.
