Films : What Happens In The Beginning.

 

There are variety of elements which we see happened as a film starts such as film credits including the directors name, producers name, the studio and the distrubution company. It also incorporates an establishing scene which lets the audience have an insight of the characters and setting.

Distrubution Company...
Distrubution is the process of making the film available for the audience to watch. They are responsible for gettng the film in cinema and after the cinema allow the audience to watch on DVD, Blue-Ray and television.

Production Company...
This can be a motion picture, independent company or a studio. It shows the audience who produced the film. Director or producers personal production company may also have acquired the source material such as a book or play upon which the movie is based. The production company provides the physical basis for works for the film.


Producer & Director ...
The producer and director get a bigger text and mostly a whole screen just for them than the actors as they produced and directed the film. The film is what it is because of the producers and directors. For example Tim Butron is the person who would direct the making of a film, generally Burtom controls the film's artistic and dramatic aspects, by visualizes the script while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfillment of that vision whereas the producer prepare and then supervise the making of a film before presenting the product to a financing entity or a film distrubutor. both essiential and of great importance.

Movie Stars/Crew...
One to three lead actors may be mentioned before the title. As the presence of these star actors is the reason people go to watch the film. The names are listed before the movies title, which is equivalent to having their names above the title in the movie poster.
   

  
Establishing Scene...
After the film has annoucned its credits to the studio, distrubution comapanies and crew, they show us the establishing shot. This shot allows the audience to get a sense of what the film is really about also gives the first impressions of the main characters within the film. By using an establish shot it also indicates the relationship between the characters and the time of the place when it is set. Most people believe that opening of the movie sets the expectation of the whole movie wheather people are eager to watch more or have doubts. 

Title Name...
When it comes to inserting the title, the most simplie titles are the ones behind a black blank screen. Depending on the background it can suggest different thinks such as black and white in the wizard of OZ suggests an old fashion film wheres a bring background suggests a more moderd. most movies having moving images behind the title, this makes it more visually appealing. Some Titles play with the font to suite the theme such as Disney's Tazan & Jane.
