What happens at the beginning of the film?


In the opening of a film theres usually credits saying who produced it, the director, the stars and everyone who is involved in the film as well as the characters and setting being introduced. 

The Credits consists of:


  • Name of the Studio:Name of the studio that is distributing the film and may or may not have produced it.
  • Name of the Production Company:Name of the production company that actually made the film or name of the investment groups or companies that financed      
  • producers/director's name's first credit, often "a film by ..." or "a ... film"
  • Actors and Actresses: Main actors  
  • Film Title: name of the film 
  • Featuring: other actors and actresses
  • Casting or Casting by: The person who directed the cast 
  • Music or Music Composer: Music composer  
  • Production Company/Designer: the name of the person who created the sets, costumes etc
  • Editor Name 
  • Director of Photography 








The beginning of the film it is crucial to have these credits for the companies who where involved in the film and to set the scene for it.
